Lia is a student at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire currently pursuing a double major in Biology and Environmental Studies. She was the valedictorian of her highschool and a National Merit Scholarship winner. She also received a 1580 on her first attempt for the SAT (800 reading, 780 math) and 5s on all AP tests (Chem, Bio, Lang, Lit, Calc AB). At Dartmouth, she is a member of the Mirica Lab in the Chemistry department, and is working on synthesizing Metal Organic Frameworks for applications in toxin absorbtion. She also works closely with the Environmental Studies department in transcribing and analyzing historic journals of prominent arctic explorers.

Lia has experience in tutoring stretching back into middle school and enjoys sharing her love and understanding of subjects such as chemistry and biology with others. In her free time, you can find her on a walk through the woods identifying bird songs or playing her favorite pieces on the piano.
