Sajiv tutors students for the SAT, helping them strengthen both their content knowledge and test-taking strategies. He is currently pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering on the pre-medical track at Johns Hopkins University, where his academic interests span neuroscience, computational biology, engineering, and medicine. At Johns Hopkins, Sajiv conducts research focused on neurodegenerative disease, circadian biology, and molecular pathways involved in neuronal and microglial function. His work combines computational approaches, including Python, R, bioinformatics, genomic analysis, and large-scale biological datasets, with laboratory techniques such as cell culture, transfection, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, and primary cell culture. He has presented his research at the Johns Hopkins Sleep & Circadian Research Day and has contributed to projects involving protein regulation, neurodegeneration, and computational genomics. In SAT tutoring, Sajiv focuses on helping students recognize common question patterns, strengthen weaker areas, improve pacing, and develop efficient problem-solving approaches. He emphasizes understanding the reasoning behind each question rather than relying solely on memorization and adapts his explanations to fit each student’s learning style. With a strong academic background and experience across research, engineering, and medicine, Sajiv aims to make SAT preparation more approachable, structured, and engaging while helping students build confidence in their abilities.
