David is a passionate STEM educator with a strong engineering background, having graduated as valedictorian from South Tahoe High School before earning his Mechanical and Ocean Engineering degree from MIT. During his studies, he designed robots for the Marine Robotics Team, built race car components with Formula SAE, and mentored engineering students while promoting STEM outreach through MIT's Edgerton Center. After college, he engineered deep-sea submersible robots in San Francisco and later became a STEM curriculum developer, creating accessible, hands-on learning programs for underserved students.
