My student has already studied the content. Why are they still missing free-response points?
This is the most common AP Biology problem we see. The multiple-choice section tests recall. The free-response section tests scientific reasoning: designing experiments, interpreting data, and constructing written arguments that satisfy specific scoring criteria. A student can know every concept cold and still lose points because their free-response answers don't follow the structure the AP rubric rewards. Tutors work on this specifically, not on re-teaching content the student already knows.
