Hi! My name is Emma and I'm a recent Cornell graduate. I finished #1 in my high school and had an ACT super score of 35. At Cornell, I majored in Human Biology, Health, and Society, with a minor in Gerontology and graduated with distinction (3.78 GPA). While I was there, my coursework consisted heavily of advanced level biology and chemistry classes. I was also a member of a translational research team in the field of geriatrics, where we worked on tools to help caregivers of individuals with dementia and other memory illnesses. I TA'd for a class on Adulthood and Aging, where we addressed current social biases, analyzed population trends, and learned about current practices for healthcare professionals in addressing an aging country. In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing with my golden retriever, kayaking, and being a lifelong learner!
